Civil Society Organizations Sustainability Index: Presentation of the Ukrainian Report for 2024

How is Ukrainian civil society coping with the challenges of the times? What trends are shaping its development?

We invite you to the presentation of the annual report of the Civil Society Organizations Sustainability Index (CSOSI) for 2024, where we will provide answers to pressing questions.

The event will take place at the Press Center of Ukraine Crisis Media Center on July 28 at 11:00. 📌 Registration is required at the link.

Why is this important?

The CSO Sustainability Index is an international analytical tool that measures the civil society’s sustainability in seven key dimensions: legal environment, organizational capacity, financial sustainability, advocacy, service delivery, sectoral infrastructure, and public image.

The study shows how the sector is changing year to year, which trends are strengthening, and where support is needed. It lays the foundation for strategic decision-making — for organizations themselves, for the state, and for donors.

For the ninth consecutive year, the Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research has been the executor of the Index report in Ukraine, analyzing key aspects of civil society development.

In addition to the presentation of the Index, we will share:

  •  an overview of the role of CSOs in the preparation of the Ukraine’s Enlargement Report;
  •  presentation of the Dashboard of the Civil Society Sustainability Index in Ukraine;
  •  a discussion on "2024 in the life of civil society — achievements and lessons learned."
