How to Register an NGO Online: Tips from the UCIPR Webinar and a Step-by-Step Infographic

UCIPR expert on legal support for freedom of association, Dmytro Yaprakh, held a seminar dedicated to the practical aspects of digital registration for NGOs. He explained in detail how online registration for NGOs works, from preparing the documents to receiving the final result.

Specifically, during the webinar, participants learned:

  •  Which documents need to be prepared for NGO registration;
  •  How to navigate all stages of document submission via the "Diia" portal;
  •  How the model charter works and when it is advisable to use it;
  •  What typical mistakes occur during registration and how to avoid them;
  •  How interaction with the registry works and how long document review takes.

Special attention was paid to obtaining non-profit status and to the importance of having a correct UNZR (Unique Record Number in the Unified State Demographic Register), which is used for personal identification during document submission.

 Based on the webinar results, we are sharing an infographic to help you quickly navigate the NGO online registration process. You can watch the livestream of the event by clicking the link.
