📌 Why is this important?
Since the start of the full-scale war, Ukraine has been receiving humanitarian aid in unprecedented volumes. However, the existing system for administering this aid is often ineffective: organizations face problems during the import of goods, registration, accounting, reporting, and coordination of actions with state bodies.
To change this, experts from the Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research have developed a Concept for Improving the Automated Humanitarian Aid System (AHAS).
During the event, they will present:
- the results of a study highlighting the main problems that arise in the administration of humanitarian aid;
- challenges in the field of humanitarian aid and key areas for modernizing the AHAS;
- proposals for integrating state registers and expanding analytical capabilities;
- legal aspects of updating the regulatory framework;
- approaches to ensuring transparency, security, and user support;
- a plan for the phased implementation of the improved system.

Modernization of the AHAS will speed up the logistics of humanitarian aid, simplify administrative procedures for organizations, and increase the effectiveness of state control.
