UCIPR experts have concluded the selection of territorial communities for the development and implementation of Charters and public participation tools in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On People's Power at the Level of Local Self-Government."
Previously, we announced partner communities in the Poltava, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. Today, we are pleased to inform you that communities from the Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions are joining them.
Dnipropetrovsk Region:
- Samarivska city territorial community
- Synelnykivska city territorial community
- Kryvyi Rih city territorial community
Odesa Region:
- Yuzhnivska city territorial community
- Bilhorod-Dnistrovska city territorial community
- Podilska city territorial community
Thus, the selection process within the project is complete, and we are moving to the next stage – collaborative work with the communities to strengthen local democracy, develop charters, and implement tools for resident participation.
We thank all the community representatives who submitted applications and look forward to further cooperation in other UCIPR initiatives.
