UCIPR launches new initiative as part of the Phoenix: Power of Communities project

In October 2025, the Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research (UCIPR) launched a new project, "Strengthening the UCIPR’s capacity to continue its work in the field of research and analysis of the CSO environment," aimed at developing the organization's analytical potential and deepening its expertise in the legal environment of civil society organizations.

Its goal is to enhance the professional level and analytical competencies of UCIPR experts in conducting research, preparing analytical materials, and submitting grant applications, strengthening organizational sustainability.

Key objectives of the project:

  • to develop and disseminate the UCIPR’s expertise in the field of CSO legal environment analysis;
  • to improve the analytical skills of staff and support their research activities;
  • to strengthen the team's capacity to prepare and write grant applications.

As part of the project, the UCIPR team will undergo training in conducting qualitative research and preparing grant proposals, working on preparing analytical reviews of legislation, and sharing the results through their own platforms and communication resources.

The training and analytical work's results are expected to contribute to the emergence of new research, publications, and recommendations for civil society organizations.

The project "Strengthening the Capacity of the Ukrainian Independent Center for Political Research to Continue its Work in the Field of Research and Analysis of the CSO Environment" is being implemented by the Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research within the framework of the "Phoenix: The Power of Communities" project, which is being carried out by the Eastern Europe Foundation with the support of the European Union.
