The UCIPR team participated in a four-day institutional development training course entitled “The Power of Adaptation: Strategy, Resources, and MEAL Approaches for Sustainable Organizations.”

"To remain effective in conditions of constant turbulence, we need to learn and change faster than the challenges we face. This training provided us not only with new tools, but above all, a new impetus for development. We thank our partners for this opportunity and support, because it is together that we strengthen the capacity of civil society in Ukraine," said Valeria Skvortsova, Executive Director of the UCIPR.
During the training, the head of the organization, the accountant, the project coordinator, and the communications specialist:
- worked on developing organizational capacity and effectiveness;
- learned about tools for effective planning, monitoring, and evaluation of activities (MEAL);
- considered legislative changes for non-profit organizations;
- received explanations regarding tax audits and donor reporting requirements;
- mastered tools for strengthening reputation through public communications and speeches.
Overall, the training program aimed to strengthen the managerial, analytical, and team capabilities of civil society organizations in the context of war and recovery.
We were delighted to be among the 11 partner organizations selected by the Eastern Europe Foundation to participate in this program.

The training was conducted as part of the Phoenix: Power of Communities project, implemented by the East Europe Foundation with financial support from the European Union in Ukraine.
